MINI BLINI’S
It is officially Desserts/Cakes and Cookies Day!! I let my daughter pick the recipe for today!! She picked these (MINIBLINI’s). she thought they sounded YUMMY!!! Hope you enjoy!!
MINI BLINI’s
1 (8oz.) package cream cheese
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
1 egg yolk
1 loaf thin sliced white bread
cinnamon and sugar mixed
Combine cream cheese, sugar and egg yolk in bowl; beat until smooth. Trim crust off bread slices; flatten each with a rolling pin. Spread cream cheese on bread slices with cream cheese mixture; roll up jellyroll-fashion. Dip in melted butter to coat.; roll lightly in cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 400° for 8-10 minutes. Can be made ahead of time and frozen. If frozen, cook at 400° 10-15 minutes. Serve hot. Sour cream and/or jelly can be spooned over blini’s , if desired.
