VERY EASY NO-BAKE COOKIES
This is a great family recipe. These are no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies. Can you say YUM?? I also put this recipe on my other blog. You can double it to make more of these at a time. Depending on how big you make them will depend on how far the recipe goes!
EASY NO-BAKE COOKIES
1/2 c. milk
1 stick of butter
2 c. sugar
**Bring these ingredients to a boil, stirring occasionally, once starting a rolling boil; boil one minute. No need to stir while boiling.
**Once you have boiled for 1 minute, remove from heat; add the following:
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4-2 1/2 c. rolled oats
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. cocoa powder
** Mix well; use tablespoon to spoon out onto wax paper into whatever size cookie you want and let stand. Cookies should set up within 10 minutes or so. When done , they should easily peel away from wax paper.
**Do not over boil or under boil because if you over boil them, that will make them too dry and they will crumble OR if you under boil them that will make them too soupy, then they won’t set up correctly. Boil 1 minute!!
I love it. Cookies you don’t have to bake with cocoa powder and peanut butter? Thanks, Thanks, Thanks.
